SHIPMENT DEPARTMENT / EXPORT DEPARTMENT:
Shipping Department/Export Department has a big responsibility to monitor the entire shipment until reaching well in safety to the customer’s hand with proper shipping documents.

They have to work with customs agents, warehouse staff, shipping companies, and clients. Clerks help with shipping, receiving, and record keeping for international transactions.  Most of their working day is spent in an office atmosphere as they verify that all  documentation adheres to import-export policies and laws.

Sometimes, they have to  take care very much, when loading cargo properly in the container as per customer’s spread sheets and country wisely. Even, they have to send extra people to the sea port for being sure that the container has been loaded as per customers’ spread sheets.

So it is also very important department in a company. There is no way to avoid / neglect such obliged duty by this Department. Because we always would like to please our valued customers with very reasonable price, best quality products and very good service till their shipment in their warehouse. I hope then, we have fulfilled our valued customer’s requirement and can hope for long time business relation. Still now, we have our all customers with us, and continuing business since then.

Finishing Department:
After completing proper sewing and all the pieces are quality checked in output quality department and short out the bad ones and send the AQL goods to the finishing Department for properly checking and packing in cartons before sending to seaport / Airport. I wrote you below 13 steps.

1. 100% GMTS in side process check:
After receiving garments (gmts) from sewing, we start the finishing procedure, at the same time we press covering all size & color to see the measurement, quality standard, hand feel & any sewing defect etc, also carton & poly, measurement ensure by the first production.

2. Trimming Check:
Trimming is a most important thing of quality issue. For that, we establish a trimming section to strictly control the uncut thread/loose thread etc. We don’t allow tread end over 01 mm to 02 mm. We should take care of trimming throughout the stitching process. Final trimming is done in the finishing area before packing.

3.100% GMTS key measurements check including quality check:
A large quantity of Q.I check 100% garments, process-wise in the side of garments including 100% measurement check. They ensure that no defect, no uncut thread inside of the garments, no any measurement defects. For every Q.I give their personal Q.C pass number inside of the GMTS when passing for next steps. For removing the loose thread & number sticker garments, we use thread sucking machine and 100% Garments go finishing area after the thread sucking action.

We have been trying our best to ensure 100% perfect garments including perfect measurement. But within measurement customer’s given tolerance. Example: Pls see below Measurement chart that we have been following for valued Huel brand t shirts.

4. Pressing/Stream Iron checking:
We have a gas steam boiler for clean ironing. We use the iron shoe to avoid the shining mark. For the perfection, we make stream iron garment in two times. One is called preliminary stream ironing & another is called final stream ironing. This has to be done after final & getup checking.

5. In line Inspection:
After preliminary pressing, Q.I person check topside of whole garments. They ensure that no defect, spot & uncut thread top side of the garments. For that every Q.I give their personal Q.C pass no inside of the pocket.

6. Hourly QC Check:
In finishing section Q.I persons check 100% garments, process-wise top & inside side of garments. They ensure that no defect & uncut top side of the garments. For that every Q.I give their personal Q.C pass no inside of the pocket.

7. Q.I check:
There is something odd looking at a glance in whole garments, like out of shape, spot, poor pressing and mainly checks any missing of a hand tag, price tag, and size tag etc And match the barcode number, bar, wording everything with the approval trim card.

8. Packing Compliance:
100% garments should be packed through final piece to piece checking by final QI and put the final QC pass sticker and send for packing. below three steps are using for fully packing

a. The folding Man / Woman fold properly the garments, and send to Packing Man / Woman for packing

b. The packing Man / Woman make properly pack into the Paper Bag / envelop. After inserting into the Paper Bag / envelop and then wrap / close the flap with Eco frankly adhesive.

c. When the packing man / woman is packing the t shirts. They are very much carefully the size label of t shirts and also size of paper bag / envelop. Both sizes of t shirts and paper bag must be same and this process is very important for a packing man / woman for avoiding any mistaken. Moreover, the line QC of finishing section is auditing continuously for avoiding any sizes mistake.

9. Check by needle detector:
After completing the packing, all the packs are sent to Carton Section through passing the Metal Detector machines.  in this process, Our detection standard is 1.0mm diameter sphere of ferrous metal. We keep 100% record of metal detection.

10. CTN QC Compliance:
Before seal, the carton Q.C checks the ratio & garments shade that, the ratio & garments shade is as per buyer requirement & same shade in one carton. If both thinks are okay
Q.C gives a sign inside of carton, then the carton should seal in front of Q.C. We also follow another few steps, if it is One Order, but different countries and then we use Country sticker on the cartons for avoiding any mixed shipment after going to Sea port/Airport.

11. Lot pass audit:
Take a lot of garments passed by table inspectors & counts the quantity. This quantity will be treated as lot size. Draw sample size randomly from this lot as per our inspection sampling plan (AQL) for final inspection is 4% use here inspection sampling plan for AQL or 1.5%.Inspection the sample goods. Count the reject garments from this sample. If reject quantity exceeds in the sampling plan, reject the whole lot to the table inspectors for re-check, otherwise accept the lot. All process is documented for batter activity.

12. Pre-Final Inspection:
There is an in-house pre-final audit for self-confirmation, done by the chief quality controller. He audits by 2.5 A. Q.L as receiving the Q.C pass report we offer for final inspection. Our A.Q.L chart is always followed as per customer’s requirement.

13. Final Inspection:
Final inspection is the last steps of garment inspection system. In this stage complete garments are inspected by our QC Manager.

SEWING DEPARTMENT:
After proper cutting the approved fabrics, this Department (sewing) is the biggest responsible department for proper sewing the clothing /garments as per customer’s approved quality samples. I wrote some essential 6 steps in this Department.

1. Front part & back part check:
A large quantity of Quality Inspectors check 100% front & back part to avoid any mistake when starting sewing, they ensure that no defect of the front & back part and they also check print & embroidery when checking front & back part. For every Q.I give their Q.C pass number sticker inside of the cut pieces.

2. Print / Embroidery:
Normally this stages is already done in the cutting section after print / embroidery. Yet again the sewing QI check the print & embroidery when checking front & back part when starting sewing as a regular basis.

3. Branding of labels:
Before starting sewing, the Production Manager (PM) check all the branding label, flags / side labels, sewing threads are available or not with his / her people (floor in charge, line chief, supervisors etc). If not available such (the branding label, flags / side labels, sewing threads), then charge the Store Manager for delivery all the related accessories (branding labels, Flag labels / side labels, sewing threads etc), then start sewing.

4. In line Q.I Audit:
We follow root canal system in sewing. For that, we analyze the source & reason of defects and take preventive action as per the root cause. Q.I checks 100% incomplete garments of quality control manual. Q.I writes the operator name & I.D in the format and makes that, how many defects she has done in one hour and then one day. And this daily total result is added for monthly summarization for the quality evaluation process. The hourly defects record is very important for root cause analysis. If anyone of Q.C sees the hourly record, he can easily imagine that what is going on & what have to do?

5. End Line Audit:
End Line Q.I checks 100% garments. Q.I writes down the name & ID no of operators & keeps an hourly record of defects. So that we can easily identify the most defective operation and take preventive immediate action. We compare both reports of inline & end line to see the efficiency of Q.C, either he is doing proper work or doing homework.

6. In house QC Check:
An in house audit is another QC audit that is done by line Q.C, we do that for the more safety. When comes first output, Q.C check the styling & the statistical audit to find out any mistake which has done in sewing. In finishing a section, finishing Q.C will again do the statistical audit for find out any error, which has done in finishing section. For that, we can solve any problem from the very beginning before going in the finishing section

CUTTING DEPARTMENT:
It is very important department before starting sewing. Before starting bulk cutting, we are to ensure the following  through testing in our Experience Quality Assurance Team (EQAT) including laboratory testing….

  • Physically double check  fabrics colors shade, weight / GSM, spirality, touch feeling, quality again as per customer’s approval shade / PP samples
  • Dimensional Stability to Washing, Dry cleaning, appearance retention, and ironing etc.
  • Color fastness to light, crocking /rubbing, washing, bleaching, dry cleaning, acidic perspiration, alkaline perspiration etc.

  • Check that the marker is placed on the spread with the edge parallel to the selvage of the piece goods. Verify that all cut pieces will be completed and also the quality control inspector should check each cutter at a 2.5 acceptable Quality Level (A.Q.L) based on the number of parts being cut.
  • Check for table marks as the table is marked and also check carefully to ensure that one edge of the fabric is square to the tabletop. Visually inspect the alignment of the edge with the table top.  Record spreading defects by the number of defects found for each checkpoint. For fabric utilization purposes, the sample form includes columns for edging end and remnants. Calculate the defect rate for the spreader by dividing the number of defects found by the height.
  • Not only that, but also the QC TEAM of this department are also responsible to provide proper printing / embroidery cutting part to Sewing Department after piece to piece quality checking after completing Embroidery / print. So really this department is very important depart for perfect garments.

DYEING DEPARTMENT:
It is very important to use OekoTex Standard 100 certified dyeing substance / materials for dyeing yarn /fiber /fabrics, that must be safety for human kinds. In the most textiles fabrics industries / producers are using very poor quality dyeing materials to occupy cheaper market for textile clothing orders, which are not using REACH regulated and OekoTex Standard 100 dyeing substance / materials and not safe for human body. So always take care your orders / your brands and place your valuable orders to the faithful textiles industries Like Sagacious. We try to explain the history of dyeing and its using below

Dyeing is the application of dyes or pigments on textile materials such as fibers, yarns, and fabrics with the goal of achieving color with desired color fastness. Dyeing is normally done in a special solution containing dyes and particular chemical material. Dye molecules are fixed to the fiber by absorption, diffusion, or bonding with temperature and time being key controlling factors. The bond between dye molecule and fibre may be strong or weak, depending on the dye used. Dyeing and printing are different applications; in printing color is applied to a localized area with desired patterns and in dyeing it is applied to the entire textile.

The primary source of dye, historically, has been nature, with the dyes being extracted from animals or plants. Since the mid-19th century, however, humans have produced artificial dyes to achieve a broader range of colors and to render the dyes more stable to washing and general use. Different classes of dyes are used for different types of fiber and at different stages of the textile production process, from loose fibers through yarn and cloth to complete garments.

Acrylic fibers are dyed with basic dyes, while nylon and protein fibers such as wool and silk are dyed with acid dyes, and polyester yarn is dyed with disperse dyes. Cotton is dyed with a range of dye types, including vat dyes, and modern synthetic reactive and direct dyes.

KNITTING/WEAVING DEPARTMENT:
It is not a word only. It is very significant stage for perfect and required Knit / woven fabrics as per customer demand. If you do any mistaken for selection yarn, selection machine, selection weving / knitting tension, and setting machines as per Weft/ Warp, then it must be in big problem.
